 Camps

Camps are probably the highlights of any Cub Scouts time in Cubs. From a simple night away to a week long summer camp miles away from home. It is the start of a journey when children have to start exploring things for themselves and learning to make their own discoveries and decisions. A weekend or week away from their parents and joining forces with their friends, taking part in new activities, learning new skills and making new friends.

We often find that when we take our Cubs on camp that they get so much out of it, especially when we do a week long summer camp. Most seem to grow up so much when they do a camp, whether its the new found independence, the chance to do new activites, have new adventures or make new friends. It must be different for all of them, but what always happens is that we bring home a group of very exhausted but very happy Cub Scouts.

Here is a list of all the activities we have ever done on our Cub Camp, this is probably not the complete list as I have probably forgotten half of them.
