Cub Scouts: 01974 298005 For Boys & Girls aged 8 - 11

My name is Ben and I have been the Cub Leader at Lampeter for nearly 3 years now, before that I was the Cub Scout Leader at the Henlow/Clifton Tigers in Bedfordshire. I am married to Chil, the Assistant Cub Scout Leader and we have two brilliant sons. I have been in Scouting since I was an 8 year old Cub Scout. I then progressed through all the sections to then become a leader. I learnt so much from scouting that I believe all children should join scouting, and this is my chance to give back to an organisation that I gained so much from.

Kaa joined us as Assistant Cub Scout leader in September 2007. Kaa is the wacky one of the leadership team, who is more than willing to join in the games with the Cubs. In fact Kaa usually has her hand up for the games first. After summer camp it has now become known that Kaa has the a mind faster than a wasp!!!

This is Jana and she has been an Assistant Cub Scout Leader in Lampeter the same amount of time as Ben. Jana is new to Scouting, as she was talked into it by Akela and her background is in theatre and drama. She teaches people of all ages drama and theatre skills locally, so if you want a drama, Chil's the person to call upon. Chil started up a new Beaver Colony in Lampeter in January 2006, with Akela so that we could get more children into Scouting.
